The Dean of Undergraduate Admission is responsible for directing all undergraduate admission operations for the University by providing leadership in all aspects of undergraduate recruitment, admission, and yield. The Dean reports to the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and serves as the chief undergraduate admission officer for TCU.

The successful Dean of Undergraduate Admission candidate will:

  • Continue to build and enhance the recruitment funnel of prospective undergraduate students through identifying new emerging markets and expanding on current ones.
  • Meet projected enrollment targets, as defined by the strategic plan.
  • Strengthen transfer enrollment by evaluating processes and removing barriers to entry as well as cultivating transfer partnerships.
  • Increase international student recruitment and enrollment.
  • Maintain the current positive office culture through investing in human capital, and strategically building staff to meet the enrollment needs of the division.
  • Invest and strengthen the use of analytics by the admission team using current data and technology.

The preferred candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree; master’s or doctorate degree strongly preferred and a minimum of 8 years of academic administration with an emphasis on selective admission and recruitment of students with increasing responsibility. Proven leadership and budgetary experience with excellence in leveraging CRM software are required. High-level proficiency in Technolutions (Slate) is highly desirable.
