TITLE: Lecturer

ABOUT THE POSITION: The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Alabama in Huntsville invites applications for a Lecturer position in mathematics to begin in spring of 2024. This is a non-tenure-track teaching position. Applicants must have completed at least 18 graduate credits in mathematics or applied mathematics and possess at least an MS degree in mathematics. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching.

The Department of Mathematical Sciences, which offers academic programs leading to bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics and to the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Mathematics, has over 19 full-time faculty members whose expertise covers the main topics arising in applied mathematics. The successful applicants will be expected to teach undergraduate courses including Calculus.
