Position Description

The Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Economics at the Instructor position level to begin in the 2025-26 academic year and is renewable for up to three years. The successful applicant will teach up to three one-quarter undergraduate courses in Economics. Qualifications for appointment include strong teaching skills and a strong commitment to research. Applicants in all fields of Economics will be considered.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. in Economics before starting the position of Instructor.
