The Department of Natural Sciences and Engineering is seeking applicants for a non-tenure-track, nine-month Instructor of Chemistry with a start date of August 16, 2025. The selected candidate will primarily teach Organic Chemistry laboratories as well as Organic Chemistry lectures and Introductory Chemistry courses, depending on departmental need. Additional duties will include advising undergraduate students, serving on university committees, actively supporting unit initiatives, and may include laboratory preparation and coordination.
Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or a closely related field is required by August 15, 2025. Candidates must have the ability to teach Organic Chemistry and Introductory Chemistry. A successful background check is required.
Preferred Qualification: Candidates with at least one year of experience as the instructor of record in chemistry or a closely related discipline, including graduate assistantships and contingent (part-time) faculty appointments, are preferred.
