Assistant Professor of Disease Ecology
Candidates should address key topics in the ecology and evolution of directly transmitted or vector-borne infectious disease in human or wildlife populations, including but not limited to: factors and interactions influencing the transmission of emerging infectious diseases; host movement or behavior as they relate to pathogen transmission; spatial processes influencing disease invasion or persistence; disease dynamics in multi-host or multi-vector systems; population dynamics, genetics and immunology of hosts or reservoir species; links between global change and disease dynamics; feedback between ecological and evolutionary dynamics; or the cultural, social, behavioral, and economic dimensions of pathogen transmission and disease.
Assistant Professor – Assistant Director of Infectious Disease Diagnostic Laboratory
Expertise is required in the specific area of molecular test development and next generation sequencing. This individual will serve as an Assistant Director of the Infectious Disease Diagnostic Laboratory.
