The Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning seeks two outstanding faculty candidates whose research and practice will contribute to our department.

We seek candidates with an M.D. or Ph.D. degree in biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, or a related field (required by the start of employment) who pursue innovative approaches to fundamental research on molecules, cells, organisms, and their interactions, including work that considers biological complexity across scales.
