The new transfer agreement with Morehouse College follows the Borough of Manhattan Community College's recently established partnerships with two other HBCUs, Bowie State University and Clark Atlanta University.
The two institutions have signed a memorandum of understanding that will provide Borough of Manhattan Community College students with guaranteed admission to Bowie State University upon receiving their associate's degree.

The appointments are Jennifer Wiggins at Virginia Tech, Kimberly Woodard at Stillman College, Robert Earl at Borough of Manhattan Community College, Parnell Lovelace at Jessup University, and Tim Abney at Lincoln University of Missouri.

Berenecea Johnson Eanes was appointed president of York College of the City University of New York. She has been serving as interim president since last fall. Anthony E. Munroe will serve as president of Borough of Manhattan Community College. Since 2017, he has been president of Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey.
Olivia Cousins was a feminist scholar, African American historian, and long-time faculty member at the Borough of Manhattan Community College of the City University of New York. She served on the faculty there for more than 30 years.
