Jeremias Zunguze and students from the African Heritage Research Collaborative at California State University, Monterey Bay, are working on a new oral history project to document the lives and contributions of Black leaders in Monterey County.

Dr. Mayo has significant experience in academic leadership at HBCUs, including associate provost roles at North Carolina Central University and Harris-Stowe State University.

Taking on new assignments are Daniel A. Summerhill at California State University, Monterey Bay, Sharlene Newman at Indiana University, Meleko Mokgosi at at the Yale School of Art, and William H. Robinson at Vanderbilt University.
