There are 15 new tenure-track faculty members at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, this fall. Four of the 15 new faculty members are Black.

Taking on new diversity potions are Garry Morgan at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Kendra Riley at the University of West Florida, Margo R. Freeman at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Jevon Willis at Hope College in Michigan.

Taking on new administrative posts are Kendall Isaac at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, Moira Poe at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Angela Graham-Williams at Xavier University in New Orleans, John Mack at Princeton University in New Jersey, Tiffany D. Tucker at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and Monique Howard at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. McGadney currently serves as vice president and dean of student advancement at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Prior to coming to Colby, Dr. McGadney was vice president for university advancement at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Dr. Jones joined the faculty at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 2009 and held the E. Franklin Frazier Chair of African American Literature. She was also the inaugural director of the Africana studies program at the university.

A native of Ghana, Dr. Afesi was a professor of history at Greenfield Community College in Massachusetts. Earlier in his career, he was an assistant professor of Afro-American studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Dr. McNeil was was the first African American woman to serve on the faculty at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She also was the first woman tenure-track faculty member in the psychology department at the college.

Taking on new duties are Edouard Wemy at Clark University, Gilberte Bastien of the Morehouse School of Medicine, Robert Z. Carr Jr. at Alcorn State University, Danny Hubbard at Grambling State University, and Crystal Moten at Macalester College.

The appointees are Daniel M. Roderick at Clark University in Massachusetts. Kirsten Elleby at the University of New Orleans, Kevin D. Howell at the University of North Carolina System, Aishah S. Casseus at Florida State University, and Timothy R. Terrentine Sr. at Western Michigan University.

Taking on new positions are Sheree M. Marlowe at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, Linda McCabe Smith at North Carolina State University, Caroline Laguerre-Brown at George Washington University, and Monica Terrell Leach at North Carolina Central University.

Jannette Greenwood, a professor of history at Clark University and historian Frank Morrill have made great progress in determining the identities of African Americans in 200 photos taken between 1894 and 1914.

The appointees are Nicole Overstreet at Clark University, Rodney Ridley Sr. at Wilkes University, Danielle Evans at the University of Wisconsin, Barbara Gutherie at Northeastern University, Prince Ellis at Clermont College, A. Todd Franklin at Hamilton College, and Kenny Leon at Fordham University.

The appointees are Christena Cleveland at Bethel University, Jacquelyn Taylor at Yale, Andrea Washington-Brown at West Virginia University, Blanche Cooke at Wayne State, Eric L. De Barros at Clark University, and Emmett D. Carson at Indiana University.

The summit brought high school students from all parts of Massachusetts to the Clark campus for a six-hour program that discussed how race and class shape the educational experiences of American youth.
