For the past two years, Dr. Salomon-Fernandez has served as president of Cumberland County College in Vineland, New Jersey. Earlier, she held several positions at Massachusetts Bay Community College in Wellesley Hills, including interim president.
Yves Salomon-Fernandez, who is fluent in four languages, has been serving as interim president of Massachusetts Bay Community College in Wellesley Hills. She will begin her role as president of Cumberland County College on July 1.
Dr. Terrence Hardee previously served as vice president for student success at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, and dean of the University Center at Cumberland County College in Vineland, New Jersey.
The two-year college enrolls more than 11,000 students. Blacks and Hispanics make up 93 percent of the student body. Almost all students at the college receive federal financial aid grants.
