Chase dedicated over twenty years of his career to historically Black Dillard University in New Orleans, where he served as dean of business and vice president of facilities, planning, and management.

The honorees are Tressie McMillan Cottom of Virginia Commonwealth University, Mejai Bola Mike Avoseh of the University of South Dakota, Cle Cousins of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and Derek D. Bardell of Delgado Community College in New Orleans.

Since 2016, Dr. Littleton-Steib has served as chancellor of Baton Rouge Community College in Louisiana. Earlier in her career, she served in various roles at Delgado Community College including vice chancellor of workforce development and dean of technical education.

The honorees are Hortense Spillers at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Bettye M. Clark at Clark Atlanta University, Fenice Boyd of the University at Buffalo, and Derek B. Bardell of Delgado Community College in New Orleans.

Dr. Larissa Littleton-Steib has been serving as vice chancellor for workforce development and technical education at Delgado Community College in Slidell, Louisiana. She will become chancellor of Baton Rouge Community College on January 2.

The honorees are Derek D. Bardell of Delgado Community College, Samuel Achilefu of Washington University in St. Louis, Claiborne D. Smith of Delaware State University, and William Franklin of California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Davis has been serving as interim president of Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. A graduate of Bennett College, she is the former interim chancellor of the Alabama Community College System.

Xavier University of Louisiana has entered into a partnership with Delgado Community College that provides a pathway for students to transfer from Delgado to bachelor's degree programs in business at Xavier.
