Garry W. Jenkins Will Be the First Black President of Bates College in Lewiston, Maine
Since 2016, Jenkins has been dean and the William S. Pattee Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota Law School. Prior to joining the Minnesota Law School Jenkins was a professor of law at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law for 12 years, including eight years as associate dean for academic affairs.

Dr. Willie-LeBreton currently serves as provost and dean of the faculty at Swarthmore College, where she has taught since 1997. Earlier, she served on the faculty at Colby College in Maine and Bard College in New York. She will become president of Smith College on July 1, 2023.

Since 2016, Dr. McKnight has been the dean of institutional equity and inclusion at Connecticut College. Prior to joining the staff of Connecticut College, he worked at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, as dean of intercultural development. Earlier, he served as director of multicultural affairs and a coordinator of residence life at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

In Memoriam: Marilou Allen, 1933-2017
Allen joined the staff at Haverford College in 1981 as director of the community outreach office. The initial appointment was for 18 months. But she remained head of the office until her retirement in 2015. She also founded and was director of the college's Women's Center for 33 years.
Tracey Hucks Appointed Provost at Colgate University
Dr. Hucks has been serving as the James D. Vail III Professor at Davidson College in North Carolina. Earlier in her career, Professor Hucks spent more than 15 years on the faculty at Haverford College in Pennsylvania.
