Hicks at the University of Georgia, and Harold Ellis at Morehouse College in Atlanta.
Three African American Women Who Have Been Appointed Provosts
Shantay R. Grays was named provost at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland. Andrea Stewart has been named provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Toneyce Randolph is the new provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Morris Brown College in Atlanta.

Clark at the University of Georgia.

The African Americans in new administrative roles are John Girton Jr. at Martin University in Indianapolis, Delisle Warden at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland, Rhonda Owens at the University of Chicago, Juan McGruder at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Sandra D. Yates at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina, and W. Franklin Evans at Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina.

Dr. Daria Willis currently serves as president of Everett Community College in Washington. Earlier, Dr. Willis was the provost and senior vice president of academic affairs at Onondaga Community College of the State University of New York and dean of academic studies at Lee College in Baytown, Texas.
Bowie State University Partners With Two Community Colleges for Business Education
With this new partnership, students pursuing associate's degrees at the two community colleges will be able to take business courses in such fields as banking and finance, information systems, and entrepreneurship leading to a bachelor's degree.
Morgan State University Partners With Two Community Colleges
Morgan State has entered into a partnership that will allow students who graduate with associate's degrees from Prince George's Community College and Howard Community College, to study for bachelor's degrees in engineering or psychology at the Laurel College Center.
The Next President of Minneapolis Community and Technical College
Since 2010, Dr. Sharon Pierce has been vice president for academic affairs at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland. Earlier, she served as chair of the Health Sciences Division and director of the nursing education program at the college.
