Penelope Andrews was appointed the John Marshall Harlan II Professor of Law at New York Law School and Angela D. Dillard, the Richard A. Meisler Collegiate Professor of Afroamerican and African Studies at the University of Michigan, was given the added duties of the inaugural vice provost for undergraduate education.

The new appointees are Paula Edgar at the New York Law School, Renee A. Middleton of Ohio University, Sean Huddleston at Grand Valley State University, and Khalilah Shabazz at Indiana University/Purdue University Indianapolis.

Patricia Green-Powell, Joyce A. Jones, Carnell Jones, Quincy Birdsong, Deborah Archer, and Lionel Anderson are taking on new duties.
