The new deans are Renée McDonald Hutchins at the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, Shawn Newton at Salem State University in Massachusetts, Buffy Smith at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, Grant Hayes at the University of Central Florida, and Christopher J. King at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Taking on new administrative roles are Tracey Ford at the North Carolina School of the Arts, Sean T. Bennett at Salem State University, Samara Hough at the University of Michigan-Flint, Martin Jarmond at UCLA, Claudia Donald at the University of Massachusetts, and Jasmon Sessoms at Fayetteville State University.

Dr. Bryant currently serves as vice president and chief of staff to the president of Salem State University in Massachusetts. He will become interim president at North Shore Community College in July and serve through the 2020-21 academic year.

Taking on new roles are Cymone Fourshey at Bucknell University, David Emmanuel Goatley at Duke University, Michael K. Fauntroy at Howard University, Tiffany Gayle Chenault at Salem State University, Desmond Patton at Columbia University, and Patricia Williams Lessane at the College of Charleston.

The appointees are Marsha C. Senior at Syracuse University in New York, Raymond K. Robinson at Webster University in St. Louis, Lisa McBride at Salem State University in Massachusetts, Shira Thomas at Florida A&M University, and Sylvia Clark Anderson at North Carolina Central University.

Margareth Larose-Pierre, January Gill O'Neil, Akua Matherson, Percy Caldwell, Odessa Hines, and D. Jason DeSousa are assuming new duties.
