Dr. Harden served as vice president for student services at Seattle Central College from 2016 to 2021. Prior to Seattle Central, she served as vice president for diversity at Bellevue College, and as director of multicultural services and student development at Highline College in Des Moines, Washington.

Dr. Edwards Lange has been serving as president of Seattle Central College. She was the vice president for minority affairs and diversity for the University of Washington from 2007 to 2015. Dr. Edwards Lange is scheduled to become chancellor at the University of Washington-Tacoma on September 16.
Students who earn an associate's degree at Seattle Central College in Washington State will guaranteed admission to Wilberforce University, a historically Black college in Ohio. Transfer students will enter Wilberforce as juniors with all their credits accepted toward a bachelor's degree.
