Gary Edwards is the new vice president and dean of students at Talladega College in Alabama. Kevin Hamilton was appointed associate vice chancellor and dean of student belonging at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Danelle Stevens-Watkins was named acting dean of the College of Education at the University of Kentucky.
Robert E. Johnson to Take the Helm at Western New England University
Since 2017, Dr. Johnson has been the chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. From 2010 to 2017, he was president of Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts. He will begin his new duties on August 15.
The New Provost at Savannah State University in Georgia
Since 2012, Michael Laney has served as a professor of communications and dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. Earlier, he taught at Lee College in Cleveland, Tennessee.
