Dr. Cox was a professor of history at Rice University for nearly three decades. He was a member of Rice's Task Force on Slavery, Segregation, and Racial Injustice, an advisor for the Black Student Association, and founding director of the Mellon Undergraduate Fellowship program.
Dr. Brown, currently an associate provost with the City University of New York, is a 2023 recipient of the United States Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. He will begin his new role with Husson University on September 9.
Currently, Dr. Joseph serves as interim chancellor of Indiana University South Bend. She was executive vice chancellor for academic affairs at the South Bend campus before she was asked to step into her current role. Earlier in her career, she served as dean of the College of Education at Eastern Michigan University.

Cleopatra Doumbia-Henry holds dual citizenship in Switzerland and the Commonwealth of Dominica in the Caribbean. She is a former lecturer in law at the University of the West Indies in Barbados.
The NC Sage Partnership is establishing a series of international courses of study. The first will be a program on public health taught at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica.
The State University of New York has entered into a partnership with the University of the West Indies to establish collaborative research projects and to facilitate faculty and student exchanges. The University of the West Indies has campuses in 16 countries in the Caribbean region.
The appointees are Bridget Ross at Prairie View A&M, Kimberly Edwards-Hunter at the University of Montevallo, Laleta Davis-Mattis at the University of the West Indies, and Dominic Mack at the Morehouse School of Medicine.
Victor M.D. Brown has been serving as dean of the Division of Science, Mathematics, and Technology at Burlington County College in Pemberton, New Jersey. He holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of the West Indies.
