William N. Pruitt III Promoted at Virginia Tech

William-PruittWilliam Nelson Pruitt III was appointed assistant director of the Education Abroad program at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg. he joined the staff at Education Abroad in 2009 as a program coordinator, focusing on scholarships and financial aid.

Raised in Nigeria, Pruitt holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology and an MBA from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. After completing his MBA, he was named assistant director of international affairs for Shanghai Finance University. He is currently enrolled in the higher education administration doctoral program at Virginia Tech.
