Marsha Taylor Horton to Lead the College of Education at Delaware State University

Horton-MTMarsha Taylor Horton was named interim dean of the College of Education, Health, and Public Policy at Delaware State University in Dover. She has been serving as associate professor and dean of the School of Education at Virginia Union University in Richmond.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Horton was an associate professor in clinical studies at Wilmington University. From 1993 to 1999, she served as associate secretary of assessment and accountability for the Delaware Department of Education. She currently serves on the board of directors of Sweet Briar College in Virginia.

Dr. Horton is a graduate of Sweet Briar College. She holds a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Illinois.
