Jeffery Burgin Named Dean of Students at Belmont University

BurginJeffery Burgin was named dean of students and associate provost at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been serving as vice president for student affairs at Alabama A&M University. Dr. Burgin will begin his new duties on December 1.

Dr. Burgin is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He earned a master’s degree at Ohio University and a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Alabama.

He has been serving as CEO of LEAD Public Schools, a network of five charter middle and high schools in the Nashville area.
