Victor R. McCrary Jr. was named one of the 99 new fellows of the American Chemical Society. He will be honored at the society’s 248th national meeting in San Francisco on August 11.
Dr. McCrary is vice president for research and economic development at Morgan State University in Baltimore. He is being honored for his research at AT&T Bell Laboratories, the National Institute of Standards, and the Applied Physics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. McCrary is a graduate of the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Howard University, also in the nation’s capital.
