The New CEO of Howard University Hospital

sandraaustinSandra Austin was appointed chief executive officer at the Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She has been serving as managing director of Alvarez & Marsal Healthcare Industry Group and previously was chief management officer for the Public Hospital of Louisiana State University in New Orleans.

Austin earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She holds a master’s degree in public health, with concentrations in health and hospital management, from the University of Michigan and a juris doctorate from Cleveland State University.
