Toilet Paper Noose Hung on Dormitory Door at Michigan State

An African American student at Michigan State University reported that a noose made out of toilet paper was hung on her dormitory room door.

The university reported the incident to campus police and after investigating the incident, decided that it was a “Halloween prank” and was not intended to”offend anyone or denote any racial bias.”

However, one student posted a picture of the noose on social media with the comment: “There are only 4 black people on this floor. And yes, our door is the ONLY door that had this on there.”
