
Dr. Ablordeppy has been a faulty member with the FAMU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences for over three decades. He currently teaches in the doctorate of pharmacy degree program and the graduate program in medicinal chemistry. Throughout his tenure with the college, he has severed in several leadership roles including Eminent Scholar in Biomedical Sciences, as well as a former stint as interim dean.
Before joining the FAMU faculty, Dr. Ablordeppey served as research fellow in the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University. Earlier in his career he was a lecture at the University of Lagos in Nigeria, where he helped to establish the university’s College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Ablordeppey holds a Ph.D. medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of Mississippi.
