Khalilah Doss has been named vice president for student affairs at California State University, Fullerton. She currently serves as vice president for student affairs and dean of students at Middle Tennessee State University. Earlier, she was vice president for student affairs at the University of Southern Indiana.
A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Doss received her bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, and marketing from McKendree University in Illinois, master’s degree in public administration and policy analysis from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and doctorate in educational administration and higher education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Rashad Murray has been promoted to captain of the operations bureau at the Clemson University Police Department. He has been with the department for the past four years, serving as the professional development and training commander. A U.S. Army veteran, he has 23 years of experience in law enforcement and corrections.
Murray is a graduate of the Police Executive Research Forum’s Senior Management Institute for Police, as well as the Carolina Command College.
Lindsey Malcom-Piqueux has been promoted to associate vice president for campus climate, engagement, and success at the California Institute of Technology. She most recently served as the institution’s assistant vice president for diversity, equity, inclusion, and assessment. Although her title has been changed, she will continue to oversee Caltech’s Center for Inclusion and Diversity.
Dr. Malcom-Piqueux received her doctorate from the University of Southern California.
Sonel Shropshire has been appointed associate vice president of equity and social justice at Everett Community College in Washington. Previously, he was associate vice president for global diversity, equity, and civil rights at Delaware State University. He has also held leadership roles with Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Texas Wesleyan University, Stetson University in Florida, the University of Florida.
Shropshire earned his juris doctorate from the University of Florida.
