Bethune-Cookman University Announces Eight New Degree Programs

Historically Black Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, has recently announced “B-CU Futures,” an initiative that will introduce several new degree programs to prepare students for careers in emerging industries and technologies.

Beginning in the upcoming Spring 2026 semester, the HBCU will offer undergraduate majors in actuarial science, applied artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital marketing, eSports and gaming administration, healthcare administration, and supply chain management. Additionally, the university will also launch a new healthcare administration track for its existing MBA program. All of Bethune-Cookman’s new degree offerings will feature hands-on learning and applied research opportunities, providing students with industry-relevant skills.

“We’re not just responding to the future – we’re actively creating it,” said President Albert Mosley. “Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune was a visionary innovator who understood that education must evolve to serve each generation’s needs. ‘B-CU Futures’ honors that legacy by positioning our Wildcats as pioneers and changemakers in the industries shaping tomorrow.”
