Brook Williams, an 18-year old football player at Aurora University in Illinois, quit school following racist comments from his teammates. An internal investigation by the university found his claims to be credible, according to an article from Fox 32 Chicago.
A few weeks into the fall 2025 semester, Williams said two other football players used racial slurs and made references to George Floyd that made him uncomfortable. After voicing his complaints, Aurora University opened an investigation regarding Williams’ claims, determining that Williams had indeed faced a hostile environment based on his race.
Initially, the university suspended the two accused players. However, they appealed and their punishment was reduced, although the university maintained that Williams’ account was credible. Now, the accused players must complete racial sensitivity training and can return in January.
Shortly after, Williams left Aurora University, losing his $60,000 scholarship.

I hope he can go elsewhere!
