Simmons College of Kentucky Announces New Graduate Degree Programs

Simmons College of Kentucky has recently announced several new master’s degree programs. Geared toward adult learners and working professionals, the programs feature accelerated eight-week courses, flexible online and hybrid learning options, and multiple start dates throughout the year.

Four of the HBCU’s seven new graduate programs are currently available. Grounded in the traditions of the Black church, the new master’s degree in ministry aims to prepares students for careers in pastoral leadership, chaplaincy, discipleship, community engagement, and advanced theological studies. A new MBA program features topics spanning organizational leadership, financial management, problem-solving, and ethical decision-making. Simmons’ master’s degree in organizational leadership focuses on leadership strategy, organizational behavior, team dynamics, conflict management, and ethical leadership practices. Lastly, a new master’s degree in medical science, developed in partnership with Ponce Health Sciences University, provides rigorous biomedical science training designed to strengthen students’ academic preparation for medical school and other professional healthcare programs.

In addition to these four degrees, Simmons College of Kentucky will soon launch three more graduate programs: a master’s degree in clinical counseling, a master’s degree in education, and a master’s degree in teaching.
