Historically Black Wilberforce University in Ohio has formed a new partnership with MacAir Aviation to provide flight training opportunities for student enrolled in the HBCU’s proposed aviation program.
The forthcoming academic program has already received approval from the Ohio Department of Higher Education and is currently awaiting final authorization from the Higher Learning Commission. Once approved, the program will provide Wilberforce students with access to both aviation coursework and professional flight training. MacAir Aviation, a flight training school at the Green County-Lewis A. Jackson Regional Airport in Xenia, Ohio, will provide the flight instruction component of the program.
