Bertha D. Minus, vice president for academic affairs at Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida, died last week. She joined the administration at Edward Waters College in 2009. Previously, she served on the faculty at the University of the District of Columbia.
Dr. Minus earned her bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from The George Washington University. She earned a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of the Pacific and a Ph.D. in speech pathology/adult neurological disorders from Howard University.
