North Carolina Central University, the historically Black educational institution in Durham, is hosting the 2012 Summer Youth Business and Entrepreneurship Academy, which is sponsored by the Make It Happen Foundation and funded by Genworth Financial.
Twenty high school students will spend two weeks on the NCCU campus learning about business operations, visiting area corporations, and participating in other activities in an effort to show them opportunities in the field of business.
This is the second year of the academy. Last summer it took place on the campus of Morgan State University in Baltimore.
