Larry Webster Jr. was named the dean of the Division of Career and Technical Education at Coahoma Community College in Clarksdale, Mississippi. He was director of professional studies at the Grenada, Mississippi, campus of Holmes Community College.
Dr. Webster is a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University. He earned a master’s degree in community development and a master’s degree in social science education from Delta State University. He holds a doctorate in human capital development from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Jerell B. Hill is the new dean of the School of Education at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California. He is the first African American male to serve as dean for the School of Education. Before being named interim dean last July, Dr. Hill was an assessment coordinator in the School of Education.
Dr. Hill is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine. He holds master’s degrees from the University of Phoenix and Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. Dr. Hill earned his educational doctorate at Taft University in Denver.
Zackeus Johnson was promoted to dean of University College at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He had been serving as executive director of the first- and second-year experience at the university.
Dr. Johnson is a graduate of Alcorn State Univerity in Mississippi, where he majored in agricultural business management. He holds a doctorate in higher education from Louisiana State University.
