Central State University Forms Educational Partnerships With Other Colleges and Universities

Central State University, the historically Black educational institution in Wilberforce, Ohio, has entered into a cooperative agreement with Stark State College in North Canton, Ohio.  Under the deal, students who graduate from Stark State College with an associate’s degree will be guaranteed admission at Central State. Stark State enrolls about 15,000 students and 18 percent of them are African Americans.

The university has also made an agreement with Clark State Community College in Springfield, Ohio. Under this arrangement, students who complete an associate’s degree in applied science in manufacturing technology will be able to continue their education at Central State in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology.

Central State has also established a partnership with Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, for a joint master’s degree in urban education.
