Southern University in Baton Rouge has announced a new bachelor’s degree program. Students at the Baton Rouge campus will now be able to major in interdisciplinary studies. The new program is housed in the College of Education.
Participating students can follow one of five separate tracks: community and health services, arts management and technology, applied science and technology, global leadership and international studies, or an independently designed concentration. Students must take 43 credit hours of general education requirements as well as 57 credit hours within their particular concentration.
