Grant Winrow has been appointed vice president for university advancement at historically Black Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. Dr. Winrow comes to his new position from Tennessee State University, where he served as assistant dean of student services and as special assistant to the president and director of special projects.
Dr. Winrow is a three-time graduate of Tennessee State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in mass communication, an MBA, and a doctorate in educational leadership.
Cornelius Brownlee has been named assistant dean of student conduct and community standards at the university. With over 15 years of experience in higher education and human resources, he most recently served as executive director of equity and inclusion at Tennessee State University.
Dr. Brownlee is a three-time graduate of Florida State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation counseling, a master’s degree in integrated marketing and management communication, and an educational specialist degree. He holds a Ph.D. in educational leadership with a focus on human resource development from Florida Atlantic University.
Issac Bivins, Jr. has been named assistant dean of student engagement at Lincoln University. His background consists of roles in student success, social work, and higher education administration. Prior to his new role, he served as director of alumni affairs at Jarvis Christian University in Texas.
Bivins holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Jarvis Christian University and a master’s degree in higher education administration from Southern New Hampshire University. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in leadership and higher education from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
