About the Opportunity
The College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH) combines Northeastern University’s signature approach to experiential learning with liberal arts education, interdisciplinary research, and community engagement, both locally and globally.
The College comprises 17 academic units, including two schools, seven departments, and eight interdisciplinary programs, as well as 15 research centers and institutes. Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Graduate Administration and Studies, the Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment and Enrollment Management will execute strategy and operations related to graduate recruitment and enrollment management within the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, including strategic recruitment plans for increasing enrollments across all graduate programs and across the University’s global campus network. The Associate Director will provide periodic assessments of critical enrollment and retention indicators to the Dean, Associate Deans, and Director of Marketing and Communications in order to inform and support key college decisions regarding graduate program strategy. In these efforts, they will be a primary contact between the College and University partners such as Enrollment Management and Global Launch Services. They will also serve as a primary contact for any external partners engaging with the College on graduate recruitment and enrollment strategies.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, and a Master’s degree is preferred, with 6-8 years of experience in recruitment and academic administration of graduate programs.
- The Associate Director will be a self-starter and strategic thinker.
- The successful individual will have excellent written and oral communication skills, project management, and leadership capabilities as well as an ability to keep multiple priorities in focus and in progress.
- Facility with enrollment management databases is essential.
- The individual must have strong ability to lead and guide faculty and staff through processes.
- The individual must have experience working independently and as a member of a team.
