Interventional Cardiologist with Vascular Medicine and Endovascular Interventional skills
Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, is seeking BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist with advanced training in Vascular Medicine and Endovascular Interventional skills to join our growing team at our Newark, New Jersey campus. The physician will be an integral member of the Division of Cardiology and will include a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
The Division of Cardiology currently offers advanced multidisciplinary programs in interventional and structural heart disease; advanced electrophysiology, with complex ablations and novel devices; a heart failure program with advanced certification; an integrated advanced multimodality cardiovascular imaging program, including Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology; and a closed CCU.
The candidate must be board-certified/eligible in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Interpretation. Experience in vascular interpretation, interventions, renal denervation, and pulmonary embolism response are all desirable. All faculty participate in our inpatient Cardiology teaching service, all aspects of care related to their specialty, maintain an outpatient practice, and are involved in education (UME and GME). A background and/or interest in clinical research is desirable.
