Wade Manora Jr. has been appointed assistant dean and director of the Intercultural Center at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania. For the past three years, he has served as director of student diversity, equity, and inclusion for Emory University’s Oxford College. Prior to that, he was director of the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs at the University of North Georgia.
Dr. Manora is a graduate of Auburn University in Alabama, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in education. He holds a doctorate in learning, leadership, and organizational development from the University of Georgia.
Toyin Folorunso has been appointed controller at Hartford International University in Connecticut. His background in finance includes experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, audit preparation, process improvement, compliance, grants and fixed assets, data processing, and strategic management.
Folorunso received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria and his master’s degree in finance and financial analytics from the University of New Haven in Connecticut.
Apryle Gladney has been promoted to vice chancellor and chief human resources officer at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She has held the role on an interim basis since October. A university staff member for 25 years, she previously served as associate vice chancellor for human resources. Earlier in her tenure, she was the assistant director for human resources for the university’s medical school.
Gladney holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on marketing and human resource management from Saint Louis University.
Brandi Tatum-Fedrick, assistant vice president for annual/affinity giving and university engagement at Florida A&M University, will now oversee the HBCU’s alumni relations in addition to her current position. Her expanded role will have a new focus on enhancing alumni engagement and building community relationships.
Dr. Tatum-Fedrick is an alumna of Florida A&M University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master of applied social science degree in public administration. She earned her doctorate in education from Florida State University.

Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Winston-Salem State University.


Phillips received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of North Alabama and his master’s degree in administration of justice and security with a concentration in law enforcement organizations from the University of Phoenix.
