Jefferson Community College

Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is conducting a search for a full-time College Registrar. This position is responsible for the primary leadership and management of all programs, services, operations, and personnel in the Registrar’s Office. Professional staff are expected to advance the College’s focus on student success and completion and will work closely with the College’s leadership to advance the mission of the Strategic Plan.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and seven (7) years of appropriate professional experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of appropriate professional experience.

Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.

$56,000-$80,000/yr. for well-qualified individuals. Salary is determined based upon experience and education in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement as well as internal equity.  The College offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, vision, and dental insurance, long-term disability, generous leave policies, paid holidays, pre-tax flexible spending accounts, tax-deferred compensation, NYS retirement, as well as employee and dependent tuition waivers; may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
