Syracuse University Professor Honored by the Society of Historical Archaeology

Theresa_SingletonTheresa Singleton, associate professor of anthropology at Syracuse University in New York, has been selected to receive the 2014 J.C. Harrington Award from the Society for Historical Archaeology. She will receive the award at the society’s 2014 convention in Quebec City. Dr. Singleton has been on the faculty at Syracuse University since 1996.

Dr. Singleton is a graduate of Trinity College in Washington. D.C. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Florida.

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges has recently voted to remove Saint Augustine's University's accreditation.
