The Ronald Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science on the campus of the University of California at Davis is holding an international wine tasting event to raise money for scholarships for minority students at the institute. The three-part “Taste the World” series featured Australian wines at the February 22 launch. In March participants will review Italian wines and South African wines will be featured in April. Eight different wines will be offered at each event.
The wine-tasting events will benefit Broadening Horizons, an initiative aimed at increasing diversity in the student body of the institute. The public can attend any one session for $75 or all three sessions for $200.
