Khala Granville is the new associate director of admissions at Indiana University in Bloomington. She was the executive director of the Brightwood Community Center in Indianapolis and earlier served as an admissions coordinator at the University of Louisville.
Granville is a graduate of the University of Louisville. She holds a master of divinity degree from the Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis.
Romanda Noble-Watson is the new sports information director at Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. For the past seven years, she was the assistant sports information director at South Carolina State University. She previously held sports information posts at Howard University and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Noble-Watson is a graduate of the University of Maryland-College Park, where she majored in communication studies.
Lloyd A. Holmes was named vice president for student services at Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York. He was dean of students at North Shore Community College in Massachusetts.
Dr. Holmes holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, all from the University of Mississippi.
Darryl A. Pope was appointed director of athletics at The Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. He has been serving as director of athletics and physical activity at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois.
Dr. Pope is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he majored in communication management and business administration. He holds a master’s degree from Grambling State University in Louisiana and an educational doctorate from Temple University in Philadelphia.
Calvin Thomas IV was named vice president for the health division at Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis. He was a hospital administrator and campus administrator at an Indianapolis preparatory school.
Thomas is a graduate of Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis. He holds a master’s degree in health care leadership from Dartmouth College.
