Athletics Director at Edward Waters College Retires

Johnny Remrembertbert is retiring as director of athletics at Edward Waters College, the historically Black educational institution in Jacksonville, Florida. He was appointed the sixth athletics director at the college in 2004.

Rembert is a graduate of Clemson University in South Carolina. He played in the National Football League from 1983 to 1992 and was a member of the 1986 New England Patriots team that went to the Super Bowl.

  1. I had the GREAT privilege of recruiting, then coaching Mr. Rembert in junior college. He is a man of great character and integrity. I know Edward Waters College will miss him. He has always been a friend, and my hope is that my 5 sons will grow to be the kind of MAN he is.
