The University of Hawaii at Manoa has announced four finalists for the position of vice chancellor for students. All four candidates will visit the University of Hawaii campus by October 14 for interviews and a public presentation. One of the four finalists is an African American.
Robert Kelly is an independent consultant and former vice president for student development at Loyola University of Chicago. Dr. Kelly served as vice president at Loyola University from 2009 to March of this year. Previously, he was vice president for student development at Seattle University.
Dr. Kelly is a graduate of Loyola University in Baltimore. He holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Vermont and a doctorate from the University of Maryland.
