Quentin Wright was appointed vice president of instruction at the Tomball campus of Lone Star College in Texas. He was interim vice president of academic affairs at Mountain View College in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Wright holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. He holds a doctorate in higher education from the University of North Texas.
Curtis E. Creagh is the new vice president of business affairs at Kentucky State University. He was serving as interim president at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Dr. Creagh is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he majored in accounting and business administration. He holds a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University and a doctorate in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
Mautra Jones was named vice president of institutional advancement and external affairs at Langston University in Oklahoma. She will also serve as executive director of the Langston University Foundation. She was the director of development for White Fields Inc., a nonprofit organization that cares for abused and neglected boys who are wards of the state of Oklahoma.
Jones is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and holds an MBA.
Terri Yvette Ofori is the new chaplain at Bloomfield College in New Jersey. She has been serving as the interim pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Levittown. Previously, she has held chaplain posts at Brown University, Wellesley College, Emerson College, and Simmons College.
Rev. Ofori is a graduate of the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She is a graduate of the Princeton Theological Seminary and holds a master of divinity degree from Harvard University.
Donovan Allen was named assistant vice president of facilities management at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York. He was a senior level manager in the Department of Buildings for New York City.
Allen holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from City College of New York.
Milton Overton was named director of intercollegiate athletics at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. He was the senior associate athletics director at the University of Alabama.
Overton holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degrees in higher education administration and human relations, all from the University of Oklahoma.
