Laurie Shanderson Named Dean of the School of Health Sciences at Northcentral University

Laurie Shanderson has been appointed the founding dean of the new School of Health Science at Northcentral University, a global online institution focusing on graduate education. She has been serving as associate dean in the School of Health Sciences at Stockton University in Galloway Township, New Jersey.

“My goal is to build quality accredited programs that prepare students for the interdisciplinary and interprofessional health care field,” explained Dr. Shanderson. She is the current Chair of the Cultural Perspectives Forum for the Association of University Programs in Health Administration.

Dr. Shanderson is a graduate of the University at Buffalo of the State University of New York System. There, she majored in health and human services. Dr. Shanderson earned a master of public administration degree from Pace University and a Ph.D. in health services from Walden University.
