The New Dean of Equity and Inclusion at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania

Christopher Hunt is the new dean of equity and inclusion at Lafayette College, the highly rated liberal arts educational institution in Easton, Pennsylvania. He was serving as associate dean of students and director of intercultural advancement at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Earlier in his career Hunt was associate director of residence life at Lafayette College.

After accepting his new appointment, Hunt told the student newspaper, “I look forward to building supportive relationships with students, faculty, and staff upon my return to Lafayette. In my view, it is essential to facilitate opportunities for dialogue and intercultural communication at a liberal arts institution, so I hope to collaborate and be one of the many contributors to this important work at the college.”

Hunt is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in theater. He holds a master’s degree from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership and administration from East Stroudsburg University.
