Denise Rush to Serve as a Dean at Boston Architectural College

Denise Rush has been appointed interim dean of the School of Interior Architecture at Boston Architectural College. According to the latest statistics from the U.S. Department of Education, the college enrolls 365 undergraduate students and 372 graduate students. African Americans make up 6 percent of the undergraduate student body.

Rush has been serving as director of undergraduate interior architecture at the college. She is a licensed interior designer and has worked in design firms in Chicago, Detroit and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Before joining the faculty at Boston Architectural College. Rush was an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College in Chicago and a visiting interior designer at the University of Illinois.

Rush is a graduate of Michigan State University, where she majored in interior design. She holds a master’s degree in nonprofit management from the Spertus Institute of Jewish Leadership in Chicago.
