The Associate Vice President, Enrollment and Dean, Admission Services will be the University’s senior admission officer, responsible for recruiting, selecting, and yielding campus-based first-year, transfer, and graduate students in alignment with strategic enrollment goals. The individual in this position will assume leadership of the University’s Admission Services Office. The AVP’s management duties will include overseeing and mentoring staff, spearheading innovative and effective recruitment strategies, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a positive work environment for the admission team.
The successful Associate Vice President for Admission Services candidate will:
- Assist the Deputy Vice President in a leadership role and serves as a divisional representative for strategic working groups, committees, and other assignments.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management that mirrors the mission and core values of the University and the Division of Academic Enterprise Enrollment.
- Advise the Vice President and Deputy Vice President as needed to ensure effective operations and long-range strategic plans and activities.
- Direct the leadership team and operations of Admission Services, which includes applicant services and recruitment services (comprised of graduate, first-year, international, and transfer, and campus visit and events).
- Assist in setting new student enrollment goals and review the annual plans associated with new student enrollment for campus-based domestic and international freshman, transfer, and graduate students.
The preferred candidate will possess a master’s degree in an appropriate field and eight years of experience in a senior management role with responsibility for development and execution of strategic operational initiatives.
